Jack London State Historic Park will host a guided summer hike on Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The hike offers a shaded, moderate 3.5-mile route suitable for participants seeking an easy outdoor experience during the warmer months.
The walk begins in the cool surroundings of the Beauty Ranch area before continuing through a mixed evergreen and redwood forest.
The pace will be slow to moderate, accommodating hikers of various skill levels.
Participants are advised to wear sturdy footwear and bring snacks, plenty of water, and hiking poles if preferred.
The event will be canceled in the event of excessive heat.
Hikers should meet at the ranch lot located on the right-hand side upon entering the park.
Admission is $10, plus a parking fee.
